Nail Care:
Birds’ nails grow continuously and often require regular trimming to prevent them from becoming too long and causing injury. However, it is easy to cause bleeding when trimming a bird’s nails. We are very experienced with nail trimming, and can perform this service safely without harming your bird.
Beak Care:
Birds’ beaks also grow continuously, and sometimes need to be cut back to prevent overgrowth. You can help prevent your bird’s beak from growing too long by providing cuttlebones, mineral blocks, and toys that encourage chewing and promote beak wear. But for cases where your bird’s beak needs to be trimmed, we can provide this service for you.
Wing Trimming:
Wing trimming is a common practice among parrot owners to prevent birds from flying too high. When done correctly, wing-clipping only trims the primary flight feathers, which still allows birds good overall maneuverability and gliding capability, but will make your bird less likely to fly off and get lost or injure themselves.
